I like black for the scrappy background color, the blocks seem to pop.Like the new pattern. Thanks for the giveaway.
I seem to use pale blue quite often.
Love using grays for background!
I would probably use my favorite color...BLUE!
I love using low volume white and beige prints for a scrappy background. Thanks for the chance to win!
I use a lot of Kona Snow. It is not as bright as white, but not too yellow. Great pattern!
I've used a lot of Kona Snow in my time.
Fresh Water Fabrics batiks bundle please.
Neutral is my first choice, have no problem with white or black for the background. 24Tangent@gmail.com
I usually use white but I might have to try using charcoal soon!
I have been using low volume neutral patterned fabrics as scrappy backgrounds recently and want to try using lighter values of grey as well.

A pale Kona grey.
I love using a creamy white. That way, if there is white in the quilt, it picks up on that, but if there is more brown or tans, it picks that up.

I tend to use white and off white for the backgrounds.
I am kinda of stuck on black scrappy backgrounds right now. Love the way color pops against the black! :)

I like to use neutrals with some kind of pattern on the fabric.
I like to use neutrals with some kind of pattern on the fabric.
I like to use Kona Snow for backgrounds but want to use grays and blues for a different look. carolann427@aol.com
I've always used a lot of black backgrounds because they make bright colours look even brighter. but lately I've been using navy. It's still nice and dark but adds a little something extra.
I really like grey against bright colours at the minute, looks very modern. Thanks for the chance to win, I love this pattern ;)
I like grey or cream for a scrappy background colour. Thanks!
Please click on the delaineelliott for my email link.
I often use a light grey for background.
I use tons of unbleached muslin as a back ground in many of my scrappy quilts.
I live yellow. Always makes me smile.
I meant to say I love yellow, but live is probably OK too....
I love to use grey most of the time for background fabric.
I usually use an off white. It seems to go with most of the fabrics I use.

That pattern is amazing and the quilt is gorgeous! Grey is definately my favorite background color.
I've been using gray a lot recently for my backgrounds. I also like to use pale pastels. White is too stark for my taste. -- soparkaveataoldotcom
My favorite scrappy background is neutral!

Gray is my favorite background color
I alternate gray or Kona snow as my favorite. Buy them by the bolt.
I like to use an off white color if that's in the palette of my other fabrics. Thanks for the chance, love this pattern.
I like white with a touch of blue.
I usually go for a Tone on Tone white these days.
I tend to use black for background for that extra pop.
I tend to like dark charcoal for background fabric, because it lends a bit of drama to a project. I also love using black and white prints anytime I can.
