"Where have you BEEN???!?"

"Where have you BEEN???!?"

(confessions of a quilt + pattern + fabric designer)

This is the one single most asked question of all of my neighbors.
They don't think I live here any more.
(or they think I have a very full travel calendar)
in the past, it seemed like there were two very big looming deadlines
Spring Market
Fall Market

you know the hash tag
#marketprep
or
#springmarketprep + #fallmarketprep
or
#internationalquiltmarket

but these days they all seem to have run together
(hombre version of Hang Ten pattern by beyond the reef in Maker's Home fabrics)

and I couldn't be happier
is the most honored
the most humbling
the most
FUN

Spring Market
by Natalie Barnes
for Windham Fabrics

has a nice ring to it
(blush)

so please forgive me for not having posted in the last three months
(gasp)

let's do a giveaway
of

I have four five inch square bundles of Hand Maker Fabrics
for four lucky posting friends

hope you'll leave a note to say "welcome back"
the same way my neighbors greet me
whether I have been gone or just home working on quilts and patterns
...and fabrics....
(yaaaaaaay!)
let me know - do you like the "fabric previews"
and "market" posts?

Welcome back! I love the fabric previews and market posts, well, really any posts at all! :) Love to hear that you have been busy and that it is something good in your life that keeps you away.

For sure welcome back and with such a lovey new fabric line to lust over. I do like reports on fabric and market events, I live in a small town and I am also unlikely to get to a large show or market nice to go on line to see what is happening in the quilt world. I can then make a note of what to look for when we take a trip to a larger center with some nice quilt stores.

I'm always so glad to see your name in my In Box! A hearty "welcome back", indeed! It sounds like it has been time well spent, so I'm happy for you.

I love seeing Market posts, getting glimpses of what's to come.

Welcome back! Yes to all posts on markets. Attending is probably not part of my future, but I love the eye candy.

It's so good to see your fabrics in ACTION. I especially like the various houses made from Maker's Home. Hmmm, I just read what I wrote and I'm seeing the connection. Now I want to make some houses! If you are doing such a nice give away you might want to ask us to send photos of what we make....

Of course welcome back. I love fabric previews and sneak peeks and market reports. If I can't be there, the next best thing is to hear all about it. And it's really really important to see fabric previews. How else would I know what to order?
