My mother, Norma Rose, wanted nothing more than to

attend the Breast Cancer Survivor's Banquet.....

but things did not work out that way for her.

So any time I can support what Annie is doing

during this Initiative, I am honored to do so.

It is near and dear to my heart

My mother always wanted to attend the survivor's luncheon at USC Breast Center - Keck Medicine of USC

Sadly, she was never able to attend that Luncheon.

She passed away when I was just in my 30's.

Breast Cancer has touched each and every one of us in one way or another.

But still -- still we need to be reminded.

"Our goals were to raise awareness, encourage people to get their screenings, come together as a community, and donate to breast cancer research. We believe breast cancer awareness is important all year. Although we emphasize awareness in October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), our continuous goal is to provide resources and awareness year-round."
