Book Giveaway - winner and new book post!

we have a winner!
okay, it's up to you to count down, six different comments
discover who you are...
and send me an email
natalie@beyondthereefpatterns.com
with your pobox/snailmailaddy
and I will send you your book!

...thank you Martingale & Company

our next book is about
yes, I know...the other creative word

knitting.

I made a milky way scarf sampler, and then I got into quilting for, well, for a lot of quilt shows!
isn't it funny how (at least for me) knitting for quilters is such a seasonal thing!
you know, in Hawaii, they say the best hand quilters come from
upcountry
and that's because it's colder there than anywhere else in Hawaii
whaddya know
of course, people all over the Hawaiian Islands will challenge me about this
tidbit...it's okay...

you will want to make a lot of these projects for your girlfriends,
 your quilting sisters
or your family member

please leave a comment
and let us know which person you'd make a project for
it's a big commitment!

HappiestDays.

I make things to give away all the time; usually a quilt or sewn craft. I think the next person due, something homemade is Sharon, my daughter.

Congratulations Deb! by my reckoning!!
I give away most of what I make - my daughter would love one of the shawls - shame I don't knit!!

I don't knit, but my daughter does. If I won, I would give her the book and ask her to make me one of the wraps in the book. I'll buy the yarn.

I'm a quilter and a knitter. I would knit projects from this book for my two daughters and my daughter-in-law. Thanks for the opportunity to win this book.

I'm a quilter and a knitter as well, and I'd LOVE to win this book - it looks wonderful!

And I'd make a couple of these for myself!

I'd probably make something for myself. I'm not a very good knitter, yet, so I'd have to wait and see how it turned out :)

I make a variety of projects for charity such as dresses, baby quilts, etc. I just finished 19 scarves for the Super Bowl which our city will be hosting. They are for volunteers. I would love to start knitting again. I would make a scarf for my daughter.
