I have been using grey more and more. I really like it.
Love using grey as my background.
Been using lots more grey in the past few years. And as a child of the 60s I thought pink and grey was just the best then.
I do use gray in my quilts - it's the "main" ingredient in my currently-being-worked-on art quilt!

Actually a quilt on my blog called midnight at the oasis has gray in it. Love the contrast it provides

I'm using gray now to replace the muslim background look. The scrappy fabric really pops against the grays.
Grey, most often, is a neutral background color in my quilts. I like the lighter shades of grey most.

Have just started adding gray to my fabrics.
Just finished a baby quilt(gender unknown) and I used gray polka dots, as well as may other colors and gray minky for the backing. It came out great and is suitable for either boy or girl.

I used grey in a baby quilt 2 years ago for the first time. I have started using it even more lately. It makes a great background for pastel colors.
I love to use grey as a neutral instead of beige.
Grey was very versatile for me when I did a log cabin quilt. It brought out the brightness of the other colors. Yes one color I would like to use again.
I've used it a little in my solids quilt but I would really love to use it as a background. Just need to find the right quilt to make with it. Thanks for the chance to win!

I have not used grey but my daughter is asking me to make her a quilt and she loves grey! So I see it in my future!

I just purchased some beautiful grey fabric! But haven't found the right pattern for it!

And I have used it as a sashing and border - that too proved to be wonderful. Grey is my new neutral.
My stash is hopelessly old fashioned. Look at all that cool fabric! Gray is only as cool as the color it's paired with! Awesome.

I consider grey a classy colours and have only used it a few times but loved the results!!
Shimmer to me says that it is a sparkling glow. Looking at the fabrics, that is exactly what I see...thay are jst lovely.
