I love the days when it's lighter longer, and hubby is happy it's not dark when he gets home.

You are, of course, referring to "Daylight Stealing Time"? Sometimes it does throw me off, more so the older I get. I just wish they'd pick a time & stick with it. The sun & the earth's rotation don't care what the clock says!

I get thrown off for a while, but, I am so excited to have more sunlight and am ready for spring :).

I'll be happy for the "longer" days, but it messes up my internal clock for days.

I'm in the UK and our clocks don't change until the end of March - I love it, it means Summer is coming!!

DST doesn't bother me. It"s just like returning from vacation a time zone away.

It throws me WAY off for about 3 weeks, then it's wonderful to have light after work! I get up at 3:30, so my body's sure I'm forcing it out of bed at 2:30!

It does throw me off! I am just getting used to walking to the bus in daylight and I'm plunged back in to darkness. Plus, I have trouble getting to sleep for about a week, then I'm okay.

I'm in Arizona, so no issues here, but I do have the other stares I call frequently in my phone.

Hello, no issues with the switch as we are in Montana! Thanks for your Blog+neat giveaway!

Hawaii does not participate in this practice. Wish I were there this week, because traffic will be crazy in Los Angeles.

I do have trouble adjusting to the time change either way. I am a morning person and would like the sun to come up at the normal time! :>)

DST doesn't bother me too much. I just hate haveing to remember to change all my clocks!

Yay, Saturday giveaway! I love daylight savings time and adjust quite easily. But I'm retired, so I adjust my schedule!

Yeah!!, a Saturday giveaway. DST does throw me off for a week or so but I'm adaptable. Love the longer lighter days.
Thanks for the giveaway.

I have to admit that daylight savings time does throw me off some. I do love the longer days though. Thanks for the giveaway. I love your quilt, it's beautiful.

Throws me off every darn time. Not only does it mess with my body rhythm but it messes with my internal scheduling. I know by where the sun is in the sky what should be going on around the house. Just that one little hour changes everything.

I live in Arizona, so our time doesn't change, but my husband has to recalculate how many hours it is from EST so as not to miss his TV sports!

I hate the Spring Forward for about a week or two. It forces us to get up an hour earlier and yet encourages us to stay up later. But I do love the lighter, longer nights!

Thanks, everyone for the comments. I had a feeling I wasn't the only one that didn't like the change-the-clock days!! But you are correct, it does announce the coming of Spring....
We're going to the random number generator next, and will be announcing the winner of the fat quarters next.
Thanks everyone for stopping by! Remember to leave a comment tomorrow, too!!

It is "lucky 13"! Patty - you are the winner of the Stephanie Prescott fat quarters! I will email you now.
Congrats to Patty, everyone!

I love waking up with the sun so now that is dark again when I wake, it doesn't seem right! Come summer, having the kids go to bed before the sun sets is really strange. I didn't grow up with changing the clocks twice a year so it is not a change I've embraced.

The first few days are hard but I love having longer daylight at night.

I wish the time would just remain as is and not jump forward or back!

ALWAYS throws me off.
