Because, well, we all need an easy gift to make,
and they are one of my favorite patterns featured at byAnnie.com,

Know someone starting treatment?
Put a few necessities in a Nesting Basket, and gift it as your way
of saying, "I'm here for you!  I got you!  I support you!!!"

For my version of these Nesting Baskets,
I decided to use my upcoming line of fabrics by Windham Fabrics,
shipping to shops at the end of this year.

So, grab some thread, some chalk and graphite pencils, some clips

The #SewPink Initiative was created by ByAnnie.com LLC to raise awareness for breast cancer throughout the year. Our efforts culminate in an annual blog hop during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month to promote self-care, awareness, early detection, and support for those affected by breast cancer.

To learn more and see the calendar of events, visit: https://www.ByAnnie.com/SewPINK

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women, and unfortunately, many of us know someone or have ourselves been affected by this disease. The good news is we can do something about it because breast cancer is detectable with monthly breast self-exams and mammograms

To find screenings available near you:

In addition to participating in #SewPINK, Fat Quarter Shop invites you to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation with the goal of raising $20,000. To find the Fat Quarter Shop fundraiser, visit: https://fundraise.nbcf.org/team/fqs

ByAnnie.com will match every dollar raised on the #SewPINK fundraising page.

My husband lost his mother to breast cancer when he was only 20. I get my annual mammogram in January. Thank you for helping to bring awareness to this terrible disease.

My 2022 mammogram is scheduled for October 31st. I always schedule it for Halloween, unless it falls on the weekend, then it's the Friday before or the Monday after. My hubby told me that I picked an easy day to remember. Get the "Boobies Squished" (aka checked) on Halloween when the ghosts come out to say "BOO"!

I had my annual mammogram on 9/26/22, and am thankful that it was clear. I have dense breast tissue and have had to return for repeat mammograms and ultrasounds in years past. My thoughts and prayers are with those suffering, and I am rejoicing with the survivors! My other email is edmondsont@nacc.edu

Just had my all clear check up :)
I am young and if I hadn't been doing my yearly mammograms as direct it may have never been detected!

My last mammogram was in January 2022 and my next one is scheduled for January 2023. I’m a 13 year breast cancer survivor. I’m an advocate for getting mammograms as my breast cancer was first found from having a mammogram. Early detection is the key.
