simply put,
happy new year
this little heart
is
a mosaic on a busy sidewalk
people walk back and forth
over around and by this heart
day in and day out
it doesn't get much attention
in this moment where we
begin again
I want to suggest that we take time
to see the heart
over, around and by
us
every day
show some heart.
give some heart.
have some heart.
my new year wish for all of you
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.
