#SewPINK Initiative 2019 byAnnie.com

it's October.breast cancer awareness month.

and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the initiative
created by
to bring awareness to this special month

thank you
Annie!

in addition to the campaign, there is information about prizes, donations,
and the blog hop schedule here:
we chose to make the byAnnie
Zip It Up!
project
using
featuring fabrics and artists:
Woman's Wisdom by Carrie Bloomston
Celebrating Women by Maria Carluccio
Flower Power by Carolyn Gavin
with
Marcia Derse Palette accents
and thanks to Windham Fabrics
we'll be sending one lucky reader
(chosen from the comments below)
a stack of Palette and some of the designers' fabrics

please leave a comment to be entered
in the drawing for the fabrics
have you ever made a byAnnie.com bag or project?

I will be the first to admit it - I was intimidated by this project!!!
but who wouldn't jump in for such a great campaign....
the first part of the project prep was spent watching Annie's
GREAT
video tutorials about making zippers from her Zippers by the Yard
and her "how to" videos about installing zippers
the tutorials make it all so easy

byAnnie patterns are really specific and easy to follow
and I highly recommend jumping in and making any one of her projects
now that I've completed one of these great bags
(just don't look too closely....ahem....)
I think I'm ready to make a few more for girlfriends,
tucking in some of the information about
Breast Cancer Awareness
and Annie's Sew Pink Initiative

and that means shopping for more supplies:
byAnnie's Soft and Stable
Mesh Fabric
Clear Vinyl
Handbag zippers
and
Clips

after all, byAnnie's is donating 30% - yes, 30% of profits
on SewPINK items
sold on their online shop
(see below)

thank you, Annie
for this wonderful month full of fun projects
inspiration from designers
and education and resources
for all

HappiestDays.
Natalie

Have made the Clam Up zip bag and enjoyed the fact that there was also a video to go with the regular pattern instructions. Those bag zippers are the ultimate since they are wider and more sturdy.

I have yet to make a By Annie's bag, but I love your pouch! I may have to give that a try! That fabric is fantastic too. Thanks for the chance to win! 💗

My first by Annie pattern was the Clam Up cosmetic bag. I have about 2 more by Annie projects that I'm working on. The instructions are perfect for any sewing level and the complemwntary videos are great!

I just bought my first byAnnie pattern about three weeks ago. It's the Grab Some Grub 2.0. I have my fabric so it's just a matter of getting started!

I love by/Annie patterns and have several of them, but the only one I have made is the Quick Zip case. However, I use her Soft & Stable on many projects, love her zippers and mesh! My mother was a part of the Women's Health Initiative in the Seattle area (with four daughters, she though it was a great way to support them!) Unfortunately, she was given HRT that led to breast cancer and her death. Thank you for supporting this cause!

I have never tried a pattern of by/Annie but have wanted to for a couple of years. I love making bags and pouches and frequently use Soft and Stable by/Annie. Love how it gives lots of structure. Great cause and thanks for the opportunity.

Loved making Annie's "I'll drink to that" and love using it even more!!
Thankyou for supporting such a good cause, something that unfortunately has affected my family.

My granddaughter asked for something to keep her sewing supplies in so I am going to make my first pattern by Annie: the Stand Tall Bag for her. I am so excited!

I absolutely love this cause! And I've never met a bag, pouch,or tote pattern I could resist. I would enjoy the opportunity to make my first ByAnnie pattern. Special thanks to Annie for creating the #SewPINK Initiative and to you Natalie for your continual inspiration!

I was lucky enough to take a class from Annie this summer and it was so fun. She is a wonderful teacher and made sure everyone understood every step. I recommend you watch all of the free videos on her website even if it doesn’t apply to the pattern you are making, she has so many tips.

I’ve made the ClamUp, with some great TulaPink fabrics, and have 3 or 4 more ByAnnie bags in my queue. Love how the videos make these bags so.easy. to complete.

Wow! What a great cause, and it is a great way to challenge us to make a byAnnie project bag. I need to narrow down my favorites and make one - I'm eyeing the clam it up pouch.
Thanks for your inspiration, and a chance to get some great material.

I have made many sets of the Clam Up bags and given them as gifts. ByAnnie patterns are fabulous and all have wonderful finishing techniques that make them look beautiful inside and out. I also made The Ultimate Travel Bag and it is truly my favorite bag ever. ByAnnie patterns are a cut above the rest!

I haven't made them yet but have two different patterns of theirs for which I have gathered the supplies and hope to make soon.
